Running your own freelance enterprise can be very rewarding and satisfying. You build your skills and services in your chosen area of expertise, you maintain flexibility and control over your projects, you establish rapport and trust with your clients, your rewards rise depending upon how much – and how smart – you work, and you enjoy deep satisfaction in a job well-done.
But it can also be a challenge. You wear many hats – production, admin, project management, and sales – so you often work in isolation, without the ability to collaborate, figuring out each step on your own. And wouldn’t it be nice to take a vacation without bringing your laptop?
Metropolis has created an environment that lets independently minded service providers work together as part of a collaborative project team, led by one of our Interactive Producers.
You focus on coding, creative, strategy, sales, or whatever it is you’re best at, while we focus on the project management, administrative and financial aspects that keep the project moving.
Establish your role, select the projects you want to work on, set your bill rate and work at your own location or in our studio. As long as you’re supporting the team and the project, you can even set your own hours.
Collaboration and Support:
Leverage our project management processes and administrative support, so you can work efficiently and productively. Collaborate with your project team to share skills and best practices, lend a hand during peak periods, or have them cover you while you take a vacation.
